When I finished the manuscript for An Abomination That Caused Desolation, I was elated and overjoyed that I completed the work. I was very naive, as writing is the first step to a very long process to bring you something professional-looking as well as enjoyable to read. I knew that I wanted my cover to have an anatomical heart with the title of the book and of course my name. I could never have imagined the cover as being so perfect for the message that I feel the book contains. The Friesen Press team did an amazing job. I write about love and unity, but I never had a clue that the Hexagon is a symbol of the two. I had to select from 3 very professional cover proofs, I could tell that my book was not their first rodeo (figuratively speaking). The digital anatomical heart with the hexagons in the background was a no-brainer, it was absolutely perfect. A few weeks later I felt prompted to find out if there is any symbolic meaning behind the hexagon, and I was surprised to learn that it not only has spiritual symbolism, but it is also one of the most common structures found in nature. While doing a minor study on hexagons it began to lead me down those old familiar rabbit holes from the years past. I was starting to see the conspiracy of the hexagon and its familiar cousin the hexagram. What is the difference you may be asking yourself? Well... The hexagram is the 6-pointed star, like the one on the Israeli flag (the Star of David as it is affectionately known), and the hexagon is the shape made up of 6 points like the honeycomb. So what is the big deal, and what is this mystery I baited you within the title of this blog? The hexagon can have roots in something called "collusion". Collusion is somewhat similar to unity, with the twist of working together in secret for corporate gain by deceiving, misleading, or defrauding people of their legal rights. This collusion is called the Hexagon Fraud Theory. Using the symbol of a hexagon makes sense if one understands that in order to "gain" something from a collective of people, one would need to operate in secret with like-minded individuals. I discuss deception, lies, and misinformation in the book, and it is the trick that leads us down a broad road to spiritual destruction. I know that most people want to think that most men and women are genuine, honest, and looking out for the interest of others. The truth is that most people are looking out for their best interests. The more sinister groups make great promises while operating in secret, behind confidentiality agreements and privacy laws. What if there is a group of people colluding to keep us looking for the outward appearance of God instead of the inward? This is one of the reasons that Jesus warns us to be aware of the wolves in sheep's clothing. I write about the people who feel that they are "chosen" or more specifically those groups of people who feel that they are the "chosen people of God". However, I did not have the hexagon revelation until several weeks after the book cover was approved, and several months after the manuscript was issued. I see now that my general understanding of the chosen people being the vessels to God was dissected correctly but maybe not as thoroughly as I would have liked. For the purpose of this blog and not to bore you with details, I will say this; God, the Creator, the Most High, the Father, the Universe (placed for effect for those individuals who make a claim to knowing God) loves all his creation. God doesn't favor a race, creed, color, or nation. This being said, God used the Hebrew nation to be an example of how to live a good and wholesome life on earth, they became our example. I am the first-born son of 4 brothers, I was taught to be an example to my younger brothers. I also have 5 children and I love them all equally, it is true that some of my children have disappointed me, but I never stop loving them. Jesus' teaching is all about finding this kind of love for our fellow brothers and sisters. No one is better than you, and you are not better than anyone else. The following are a few examples to drive home the point:
I didn't choose the hexagon, it chose me. I recognize that some people feel that there is power in symbols (maybe there is?). I do not personally get hung up on symbolism, as I have always felt that there is no power in a symbol other than the power we choose to impose on it. The more important question is; Does it edify and unify or mislead and discourage? We are all free to believe what we want, and regarding symbolism, I will say this; It's fascinating. I will still do my best to be what I believe we are all called to do, love like Jesus. The Vessel, William John

I received the dreaded review of the book this week. I have not been anticipating the review for many reasons, but the biggest is that the book is about something very few people in the religious sector discuss. The book examines a prophecy that I feel was fulfilled within the pandemic of 2020 and takes you on a journey of how I saw the scriptures unraveling within the age we now live. I make no claims that my examination is right, however, if we are all being honest, Covid was a pretty big deal no matter what side of the controversy you applied your habitual manner of thinking to. I decided to self-publish through FriesenPress, and the whole process has been amazing. From the original edit to the final review, I knew that the words that I placed on paper were going to be critiqued. I knew that many people reading the book would be annoyed. I make a disclaimer at the very beginning of An Abomination That Caused Desolation that states; "If you are easily triggered by spiritual language with words such as; Jesus or Oneness, Enlightened or Holy Spirit, God or Mother Earth, Prayer or Meditation then you may have a hard time reading this through. I make many disclaimers throughout the book, as it is not meant to trigger people with language, but to encourage people to study and not to take everything at face value." When FriesenPress first edited the manuscript I was very encouraged by the Summary Review that said; "It is clear that you are writing for a higher purpose". However, the latest reviewer of the completed book has not been as flattering. I was not sure how to take the Reviewer's professional assessment of a controversial book, but at this point, I believe this review is an accurate assessment of the content. The book only received two stars from the Forward Clarion reviewer! It was clear that the reviewer "kinda(sorta?)" got what I was saying, and I feel that she wrote the review from her conditioned way of thinking, which is exactly what the book is about! She isn't buying my understanding and she did not find the book compelling (the latter is a bit concerning). I knew that the book was going to ruffle some feathers and wasn't going to appease everyone. I had to pay for the professional reviewer's time, but I didn't get to choose the person who actually got to read the book. I didn't get to sit down at a round table in an office somewhere and interview those individuals who may have an interest in this type of literature. We all have biases. How many times have we seen a great review of a movie only to come out of the theater disappointed? Or, how many times has someone said you won't like this or that, only to be shocked that you really enjoyed it? From the beginning of the publishing process with FriesenPress, a question that is often asked is what genre you want to see the book listed as. It is not a religious book, as the reviewer suggests. The book may be an anti-religious book, and more suited in the Spiritual genre, due to the nature of my new understanding of scripture. It is not against any religion and makes no appeal for a new following or faith. It may be a futile attempt to bridge differences amongst the heavy amount of division, hate, anger, and fear. I am not sure what genre it belongs to as I see the book as an examination of something that we all experienced in life including, but not conclusive, of lies, mis-information and deception. It is a quick and easy read so as to not bore you with details, and I suggest looking things up, so you can see for yourself, that many times, "things just don't add up!". If you are steadfast about your beliefs, whether they are political or religious, this might not be the book for you. Learning to be a vessel, William John. It has been a very exhausting week! I struggled with what to write in this week's blog, as I am not feeling it. I feel mentally drained, emotionally distressed, anxious, and at times lonely. In my past life (pre-covid), certain circles of influence would want me to see a therapist, but for now, meditating and praying for understanding do seem to be working fairly well. As most people are aware there is another conflict in Israel. In An Abomination That Caused Desolation, I don't tackle the ongoing issue of a complicated series of events that raises its ugly head every few years, about a country that few of us understand. I do however tackle something more sinister; Propaganda from the MSM (Mainstream Media). We are under an incredible amount of programming and I find that it is almost unbelievable that so many people still trust MSM, especially after what has been going on over the past 42 months. The armchair warriors keep me in the loop of what is being said on their favorite social media feeds. Everyone is convinced that their news feeds are the most accurate and that we are on the winning side of information. So, what are we going to do about it? Anyone who visits Israel is told that the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are off limits as you never know when somebody will bomb themselves in protest. It's dangerous. they say! You'll get hurt, they say! Those Muslim radicals hate the infidel, they say! So we rely on the MSM to give us the news from these dangerous territories and rarely, if ever, do we try to understand why Palestinian radicals would feel the need to kill. A short history lesson. It has been said that, in February (presumed to be using a Gregorian calendar) of the year A.D. 638 a friend of Mohammed (creator of Islam) named Caliph Omar entered Jerusalem, riding upon his white camel, straight to the site of the Temple of Solomon. Omar is said to have been shocked at the filth and rubble that lay strewn about the Temple Mount. From most accounts of this historical day, there was nothing happening on the temple mount and there was no resistance to Omar and his army claiming the site as their own, it was desolate. Afterward, Omar set about clearing the site, which made way for the Dome of the Rock which is still there to this day. I need to re-affirm why there was no resistance by the Jews or the Christians who were living in Jerusalem at the time. For the Christians, it was widely accepted that when the physical temple was destroyed there was no need to worship in a building that does not contain God. Jesus was clear that the Kingdom of God was/is within. The Holy Spirit resides in the temple, your body! For the Jewish nation, however, it may be a bit more difficult to understand. I am not sure of the history of the Jewish leaders of the time of Omar in A.D. 638, but I do know that after the Roman takeover in A.D. 70 of Jerusalem, there seems to be a lot of assimilation into other cultures and nations. This may be an interesting history lesson to dive into, but for the sake of your time, I will move on. Shortly after World War 2, there were many mumblings about creating a Jewish homeland in Israel once again. This fulfilled a much-anticipated prophecy found in Ezekiel 36:24; “For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you into your own land”. Ahhh... but wait there's more, Ezekiel 36:25-27 (KJV); Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. It is not a nation with borders as you can clearly see. The problem is that the Zionist mindset is this; In order for the Messiah to return to earth and make everything right in a chaotic world, a 3rd temple must be built. This should be a huge red flag for anyone who accepts this type of indoctrination, especially those people who call themselves the children of God, or Jesus followers. I know that it is very hard for most people to grasp when faced with so much killing, anger, hate, and so on. Wanting to rid the world of evil is an honorable characteristic, but who are the evil people in the Middle East? The Palestinians, who had lived in the land now occupied by the state of Israel, for over 12 centuries? Or, the hostile take-over of the Zionists, granted by the United Nations in May 1948? It should be clear if you are a follower of love, unity, and oneness found within the teaching of Jesus (and many others if I may add), that peace and love are not achieved by war and hate. We do not unite when we are arguing over things we don't understand. We should be genuinely concerned for the Palestinians who have been forced to live in the fenced-in (with barbed wire, I must add) areas of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, who live under Marshall Law with very little hope. We should be equally concerned about soldiers that operate under the Israeli government that are, "just doing their job". I failed this week in doing what I profess, such as; Did we bridge our differences with someone this week? Did we hug someone, with a genuine "I care for you"? Did we help a complete stranger because they needed food, clothing, or shelter? It starts with the man or woman in the mirror, to make a change everlasting. We can all be a vessel for genuine change, William John My partner and I stumbled upon what appeared to be a small festival on one of the main streets in beautiful Nelson, British Columbia this past weekend. There were various vendors in tents, games, food, music, and many other festival-looking décor on the street. We were excited and thought what a great little venue, not once asking anyone what was going on or what is the purpose of this Sunday bliss. After about 15 minutes I realized that this was some kind of an event promoting climate action and sustainable development. This awareness came upon me after I realized that the petition that I was ready to sign was about the implementation of the “15-minute City”. This UN global agenda was cleverly hidden behind the guise of more affordable transportation to the bigger more established cities. I was feeling a bit deceived and also a bit embarrassed that I didn’t pick up on the propaganda banners and sponsorship, all around the patrons. This topic of sustainable development and the 15-minute city has become quite the controversy and source of contention amongst many people in smaller rural areas due to the implications that the new set of global governance is having on these “have-not” communities. Most of the people promoting sustainable development goals do not understand that they are being manipulated by misinformation, deception, and outright lies. We have labeled each other into the camps of our habitual manner of thinking. There appears to be little movement in understanding each other's point of view. After I realized that I was almost duped into signing a petition that I didn’t agree with, I ranted at this all-knowing Global Citizen minion (this was how I felt about him at that moment) and didn’t give him a platform to speak his regurgitated untruth. I was exercising my 15 minutes of fame when I was promptly re-directed into a conversation with a young lady, her boyfriend, and another older gentleman. These three were commissioned to convince me that they were smarter, wiser, and more knowledgeable than I am. To me this is not a game of wits, it is the challenge of having a change of heart and learning to understand. After several minutes of neither side hearing what the other person was saying, I realized that this meeting of the minds was disturbingly fruitless. However, on the drive back to our unsustainable community of diverse misfits with my partner, I recognized something more important, forgive them Lord for they know not what they do. In An Abomination That Caused Desolation, I discuss forgiving and understanding people. I do not believe that the average person is “swift to run into mischief”. The idea that the world is a terrible place to live because of what we see on the MSM (Mainstream Media) and that we can somehow fix the crumbling world should be seen as honorable, not detestable. How do we help guide the misled, misinformed, and manipulated populous to the truth? As I look at the man in the mirror, I realize that one step, one meeting, one hug, one conversation at a time will help to bridge our differences. I have the desire to do the right thing and find it in my heart to love my undesirables, not just for 15 minutes but for a life everlasting. Learn to be a vessel. William John |
