William John
Most of my friends simply know me as Bill, Bill Dyck that is. I use the pseudonym William John as these were names given to me at birth. I am named after both my grandfathers and never understood the power of my given names. William is from the Old German name of Wilhelm, which means "resolute protector" or "strong-willed warrior". John is derived from the Hebrew Yohanan, meaning “graced by God.” John is a solid, traditional name that exudes strength, smarts, and kindness. Both my grandfathers exuded the qualities of their given names, and so do I. I realize that I am a strong-willed warrior who has been graced by God.

I have an unquenchable thirst for the truth. With a name like William John, I now understand that I had no choice but to be a (not the) vessel for the change that the world requires. I did not adopt the term lightly, as being a vessel comes with great responsibility. I find at times I wrestle with this responsibility of calling myself a vessel, but I am reminded that sharing the truth is more important than staying silent. I feel blessed beyond all comprehension that I can touch a person's heart and mind by sharing love through my writing. Love, above all things is the key to life.
I enjoy watching documentaries, reading dystopian and utopian literature, and taking something old—such as an old car—and making it new again. Due to my love for others, my most important pastime is striking up meaningful conversations with complete strangers in coffee shops. I was saturated with an interest in biblical prophecy for 40 years, and coupled with my growing sense of alarm about our current situation, I was compelled to finally pick up a pen (laptop keyboard) and see if I could get to the bottom of our situation through writing.
I am currently residing in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, where I enjoy solitude and isolation at times, but also the bustling cultural mecca within the many beautiful communities. The peace and serenity of this region of have allowed my thoughts to be assembled amongst all the world’s noise.
