Writers jam Application Form

This is not a writing competition, it is for entertainment, unity, and growth. This is an opportunity for Literary Artists to showcase their love for writing and achievements in front of a live audience. For every event, 6 new submissions are selected. The events will be held at locations in the Kootenay region of BC and beyond throughout the year. The theme and content of the Writers Jam vary with every show, and the artist's submissions are selected on creativity, sensitivity, and readership. We do not discriminate, and submissions are open to all ages. We consider amateur and professional applications.

The chosen Literary Artists of the event will participate in profit sharing for the single evening's revenue. The artists are encouraged to have copies of their books, poetry, literary work, music, etc. for sale, a table set-up is offered.

What to submit: Something that YOU wrote. No more than 500 words. No more than one submission per month. Poems, Songs, and Paragraphs from books are all considered and acceptable. Suggestions: If you are pulling a paragraph from a non-fiction book you wrote, grab our attention with something people may not know.

If your submission is chosen you will be contacted directly by one of our event organizers, and we will discuss further details on how the event works.
